ARIO manages and leverages long-term provincial investment in infrastructure and agricultural lands that deliver trusted research results.

ARIO has connections across the value chain and provides strategic advice to the Ontario Minister of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness on research and innovation to support a sustainable and competitive agri-food sector.
ARIO owns 14 properties covering approximately 5,600 acres of farmland and more than 220 buildings across Ontario enabling research and innovation for agriculture. 13 of ARIO’s research properties are managed by the University of Guelph through the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance. The 14th property is managed by Vineland Research and Innovation Centre.
